Pet Insurance from Homebase
Homebase have recently diversified into insurance, and have re-launched a pet insurance service for cats and dogs. They offer very reasonable prices with cat insurance starting from £3.09. Dog insurance, however, isn't the cheapest starting at £7.03 per month.
Homebase offer two levels of cover for cat insurance. The premium Cat Care Plus services costs £4.57 per a month. There isn't much different between the two levels apart from the amount of vet fees that can be covered per year. The basic policy will provide you with £1,000 of cover whereas the Cat Care Plus allows you to claim up to £2,500. If your cat is getting old then consider the latter insurance package as you could quite easily end up spending more than £1,000 a year on bills.
Unlike some of the other more mainstream pet insurance companies, Homebase actually provide an extra service for pedigree cats which is slightly more expensive - starting from £4.09 a month for basic cover.
Homebase dog insurance works on a three level system (Silver, Gold, and Platinum) ranging from £7.03 a month to £12.86. All three policies are comprehensive with the Platinum packaged allowing you to claim a staggering £7,500 per annum, with no limit on treatment. Like cat insurance, Homebase also offer Pedigree dog insurance at very reasonable rates.
If you want to get the most from your money then consider Homebase pet insurance. The rates are reasonable and the cover is comprehensive. You can even save 10% on your bills by ordering the policy online. Not only this but Homebase will offer a discount if your pet has been micro-chipped.
